Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Lavash Online Coaching collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

Lavash Online Coaching (“we”, “us”) provides one-to-one online fitness coaching. We are a sole trader registered in the Netherlands, and we are the data controller for the information described in this policy. Because we are established in the Netherlands and also offer our coaching to people in the United Kingdom, both the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the UK GDPR can apply to how we handle your information.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you complete the application form on this website, we collect:

• your coaching goal (lose weight, build muscle, or get fitter and stronger);
• how you identify, and your age range;
• what you write about your motivation to start;
• your name, and the contact details you choose to give us — an email address, a phone number, or both;
• how you would prefer us to get in touch (WhatsApp, email or a phone call).

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

We also use advertising and analytics cookies, described in section 4.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails to people who have only made an enquiry unless they have asked us to.

4. Cookies and tracking

This site uses the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure the results of our advertising. It tells us how many people who clicked an advert went on to complete the form, and it allows us to show adverts to similar audiences. It sets cookies in your browser and shares event data with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.

These cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the cookies for this site in your browser settings, and you can manage how Meta uses your data in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google in order to serve the font files.

5. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

Where information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, that transfer relies on safeguards approved under the GDPR: either the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or the provider’s certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We may also disclose information if we are required to do so by law.

6. How long we keep it

If you enquire but do not become a client, we keep your enquiry for 12 months and then delete it. If you become a client, we keep your records for the duration of the coaching and for 7 years afterwards, because Dutch tax law requires us to retain our business records for that period.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
• ask us to delete your information;
• ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to us using it;
• ask us to transfer it to another provider;
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to our supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. If you are in the United Kingdom you may instead complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

8. Keeping your information safe

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and the form is transmitted securely. Access to enquiries and client records is limited to people who need it to deliver the coaching. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

9. Young people

Our coaching is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before sending us your details. If we learn that we hold information about someone under 18 without that permission, we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
